In honour of my mother in laws 70th birthday, the siblings and inlaws headed to Poets Cove for the weekend last to celebrate all together. Sans kids.

While it was a lovely getaway and Ryan and I would go again in a heartbeat, I wish I felt a teeny tiny - ok...ALL the way - better. The flu that has been sweeping it's way around definitely did not miss our household and took it's tool on us too. Camia and I are both well into week 4 and thankfully Ryan only had it for 3 days. While I had the flu for 4 days, immediately after that I started with a nasty chest/sinus infection that is still having coffee with me a week and a half later. Usually I am able to still function while sick, but this bug landed me flat on my back with no energy to even think about functioning. Thankfully there were freezer meals to be had, otherwise it might have been cereal for dinner a couple times. The worst day with the flu for me was Tuesday 2 weeks ago and Camia fended for herself by finding things in the pantry to munch on. Our conversation went kind of like this: 'Mommy, Im hungry'. 'oh. go see what you can find in the cupboard.' Crackers and yogurt it was! :)
Anyways. Back to our little getaway. Other than feeling not so well - especially on Friday - we had a great time. I appreciated that there were things to do that I could do better without Camia. We combined our pictures together to put on a disc and we have 614 of them.
Here are a few of my favourites. I love this picture of Mom
We rented 2 condos or villas side by side and had 1 as the main gathering place and the other as the main sleeping place. To accomodate all the bodies, we shuffled furniture from one to the other over the balconyIt was sunny and windy the first day

We went to the spa, the eucalyptus caves to help me feel better - yes, I look unwell...
We went frisbee golfing
