Hide and Go Seek

Camia has discovered a new game. Hide and Go Seek. I love watching her play. I love listening to her play. She is playing with Ryan tonight and it is Ryan's turn to count first. As Ryan starts to count, Camia is looking for the best hiding place. I hear Ryan say 'quick, hide! 1,2,3....'. Camia pipes up 'OK, Dad, I will hide! I am going to hide in this closet!'. I laugh. Ryan looks everywhere for her, even though he knows exactly where she is. 'She's not in the pantry...' Camia laughs out loud. 'She's not in the vacuum cleaner closet...' She laughs out loud again. 'She's not in the kitchen under the table...' Giggles. 'Dad! I am over here! I am hiding in the toy closet! Come find me!' she yells. I laugh.

Another round: Ryan does his rounds. This time he ads 'I think she might be upstairs with Mom.' I hear a giggle. And then 'No I'm not Daddy! Aha! No I'm not! I'm right here!'

This girl cracks me up!

Story Hour

During the Christmas Social for Coffee Break last year, Camia's story hour buddies got to put on a little show for the moms to watch. I was proud of Camia and the simple fact that she got to hold the star :). Sorry for the poor quality photo's. My little camera does not take photo's very well indoors...
Most of these kids, if not all of them, will be in Camia's kindergarten class. From Langley church alone there were 17 kids born in her year, only a few of them being girls.

Still From Christmas 2011

For Christmas we decided to have mom and dad over on the night we did our little family gift opening since I found something for my mom that I knew she would love. I couldn't really give it to her on our Post-gift exchange night since I had her name and had already spent my limit. Camia got stories

Mom got her favourite chocolate - a box of chocolate that only has cream filling! Harder to find than one would think!And Camia got spoiled.Hand puppets.And her favourite Dr. Seuss book for her Tag Reader.

Today

Today I have decided that I am going to try catch up a little on my blogging. I want to add a little from since the last time I posted, and it's been fun trying to find pictures I thought I had, but it appears I don't. Being so far behind with so much to blog is what I get for slacking off....
