Just recently we have been going back to focusing on spending time together as a family. Since our family days kind of petered out, we decided that we would try set aside Monday nights to spend together. No t.v, no phones, just us as a family. The first Monday Ryan and Camia were getting over the nasty flu bug that was going around. Just as Caleb and I got hit with the nasty cold bug that is also going around. Fun times. For our first Family Night we played Monopoly, the kids version. Camia loves that game, and we have played it countless times since we received it from a family member. I have since made a jar for Family Night with popsicle sticks in it that have various activities written on them. In the future Camia will be allowed to pick a stick from the jar and whatever the stick says is what we will do that evening - just to mix it up a bit.
