Tulip Festival

Ryan and I decided that since we have been so busy lately and have not had much time for family time, it was time that we designated one day a month where we would have a 'family day'. No matter what comes up (unless its of some significant value :)) we are going to pen a day in reserved for us. This month we decided to go to the tulip festival in Skagit Valley Washington. It was a nice day. It started out raining and ended up being a gorgeous day under blue skies and the sun beaming down on us with acres and acres of tulips surrounding us. It made for some really nice photos :) I think, though, that it will be a bit nicer when Camia is a bit older, when she won't feel the vibe that she needs to behead the tulips, eat clumps of dirt and be hidden by the height of some of the tulips. At the end of our tour, we bought an ice cream cone which Camia loved. Its the second cone she's had in her life, and the first time I gave her one, she absolutely refused to eat off a spoon. She had to lick off the cone, just like her mommy and friend were.
