Summer 2013

Here is a photo post of some of what we've been up to this summer. We visited the water park that is just up our road for the first time.

Caleb like watching the activity. This is his 9 month photo update.

Caleb quite loves the vacuum cleaner. Especially, this our old one. It had lights on it, which was his favourite. Anything that has lights and noise are things he loves to get his hands on.

We went to the water park again, this time we made sure the kids had their bathing suits.

For the first time, we got Camia a treat from the ice cream truck. We always knew it, but the reason we don't do it ever was confirmed. I can buy a whole container of ice cream for the price of one of those sweet treats!

We had a birthday party for Camia. I made her ladybug cakepops. It was held at the park again, and thankfully this year the weather held out and we stayed dry - we were warm, in fact!

Caleb loves his taste of watermelon, something we have had in plenty this summer.

Camia, opening her gifts with her friends.

Camia and her friend, Amy.

Camia got a parcel in the mail from her uncle, my brother and his girlfriend in Edmonton. She was spoiled.

She got a Belle dress, which she loves.

And Caleb got his first taste of an ice cream cone. He quite enjoyed it.

We spent some time in the pool in the back yard in an effort to beat the heat.

It didn't matter that we were fully clothed. It's more fun that way.

We also spent a bunch of time at the lake, though not as much as last year.

Caleb will spend every moment possible outside if I let him. The toys out there are finally getting used since Camia would prefer to be inside.

I've discovered that having a boy is like having a mouse or a cat. He is constantly on the move and into everything. He loves the bathroom and everything associated with it, including the toilet paper and the toilet. We have to keep doors closed around here.
